Diana Groth | Flower City 1872 Head Coach

Diana Groth, who has international experience as both a player and coach, as she joins our staff for the 2023 season.

She currently serves as an assistant coach for the Nazareth College women's soccer program as well.

A native of Berlin, Germany, Groth played professionally for five years there and later coached youth teams for seven years before moving to the United States. She has coached at numerous camps and clinics in the Rochester area and currently is coaching in the Olympic Development Program.

She has UEFA-B and USSF-B coaching licenses. She resides in Greece, N.Y.

Matt Bolduc | Flower City 1872 Assistant Coach

Coach Bolduc has coached youth camps since he was age 15. He coached at the ODP Regional Camp in 2015 as an assistant with NH ODP and served as head coach of u9/10, u14, u15 and u16 Richmond kickers boys and girls teams since 2017. Bolduc has his Grassroots D 9v9 and 11v11 licenses. He aspires to become a professional coach when he retires from playing and also has aspirations to open up his own training academy.


Tara Masci | Flower City 1872 Goalkeepr Coach

In addition to working with the Flower City 1872 goalkeepers,Tara is entering her second season as the RIT Women’s Goalkeeper Coach. During her
first season as goalkeeper coach, RIT tied their all-time shutout record earning 12 shutouts. The Tigers also set a record for fewest goals allowed, finishing the season with an overall record of 13-4-3.

Tara Masci is founder of Goalkeeper Performance Training, a goalkeeper academy where she trains goalkeepers of all ages and skill level throughout the Rochester area. Tara is co-founder and Director of Goalkeeping of Striker Goalkeeper Girls Clinics in Rochester, NY.

Tara is a member and presenter of the United Goalkeeper Alliance, a worldwide organization made up of elite Goalkeeper Coaches who are committed to best practice in teaching and coaching our youth goalkeepers.

Tara’s playing experience includes the pre-professional W-League Rochester Ravens where she played six seasons, including an exciting exhibition game against the US Women’s National Team. She also played three seasons of college soccer at West Virginia University, competing in the Big East Conference.

Tara holds her Advanced National Goalkeeper Diploma from United Soccer Coaches as well as a D license from United States Soccer Federation.

A proud native of Rochester, NY Tara graduated from The Aquinas Institute where she is a Sports Hall of Fame Inductee.
